General Requirements:

1. Be at least 18 years of age.

2. Hold at least a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating.

3. Must be able to read speak, and understand the English language.

4. Pass the FAA written knowledge test, as well as the FAA practical flight test.

Ground/Flight Requirements:

However, IAE students have averaged about 25 hours of ground instruction (including classroom-instructing techniques), and 15 hours of flight instruction. Each individual may require more or less time depending on past experience knowledge, and currency.
